Cytotoxicity Analysis Workflow

The live cell analysis system of CD BioSciences can perform real-time, automated cytotoxicity determination in tissue culture incubator. When the fluorescent dye is added to the cell culture medium, it is inert, non-fluorescent and will not enter living cells. With cell death and loss of membrane integrity, fluorescent dye will enter the cell and fluorescently label the nucleus. Over time, fluorescently labeled cell nuclei will be revealed, and then dying cells can be identified and quantified through high-definition images, and cytotoxicity can be analyzed. This method is suitable for eukaryotic cells, but not for yeast or bacteria. The detailed steps are as follows:
