Cytoskeleton Imaging Analysis
The cytoskeleton consists of a complex intracellular scaffold composed of protein fibers called filaments. According to their specific structural and functional properties, three types of filaments can be distinguished: actin filaments, intermediate filaments and microtubules. The cytoskeleton is a highly dynamic and adjustable scaffold. In addition to serving as a cell scaffold, the cytoskeleton also plays a role in organelle transport, cell division, migration, and signal transduction. Abnormal cytoskeleton often leads to diseases. Therefore, imaging and analysis of cytoskeleton under different physiological and pathological conditions is very important.

Cytoskeleton Imaging Analysis
As one of the most basic and easy fluorescent labeling structures of cells, cytoskeleton is favored by researchers. Tubulin and actin, as important components of cytoskeleton, are the most frequently studied cytoskeleton proteins. Therefore, fluorescent labeled actin and microtubules are an effective means to visually analyze the dynamic structure of cytoskeleton.
In the past, the analysis of the cytoskeleton structure was generally performed by experts under a microscope to visually observe the stained cytoskeleton. However, these conventional methods are based on the subjective judgment of researchers and lack objectivity. In addition, as the number of specimens to be analyzed increases, the labor cost of experts also increases.
