Bacterial Membrane Vesicles Imaging Services

Bacterial membrane vesicles (BMV) are spherical membrane structures that are ubiquitous in all bacterial species, including outer membrane vesicles and membrane vesicles. They are produced by Gram bacteria through different mechanisms. Outer membrane vesicles are vesicles derived from the outer membrane of gram-negative bacteria, and membrane vesicles are vesicles released from the plasma membrane of gram-positive bacteria. BMV can deliver molecules such as proteins, RNA and DNA to target prokaryotic or eukaryotic cells to mediate communication between bacteria or host-pathogen interactions. Therefore, imaging and tracking of bacterial membrane vesicles is very important for the treatment of bacterial-related diseases.

Bacterial Membrane Vesicles Imaging Analysis

For a long time, due to the lack of powerful imaging and tracking tools, the mechanism of bacterial membrane vesicles perform their functions and convey information is still unclear. However, with the continuous development of microscopes, it has become a powerful tool for live cell imaging and analysis, and researchers have a new understanding of the biological mechanisms related to vesicles.

CD BioSciences has been committed to the development of fluorescent dyes and imaging technology for many years. In order to study the dynamics of bacterial membrane vesicles, we quickly collected the images of fluorescent labeled bacterial membrane vesicles by high-power delayed fluorescence microscope, and imaged their motion trajectories by particle tracking technology.
