Introduction:For use in histological, immunohistichemical and in situ hybridization staining procedures to preserve stains before the permanent mounting of tissues or cell preparations. The Substrate-Chromogens Protector is applied prior to mounting slides and is useful in preserving stains like AEC, HRP Green, HRP Blue, ALK Brown, ALK Magenta, ALK Red, ALK Scarlet and other similar substrate-chromogens that might otherwise dissolve in organic mounting media, DAB, HRP Black, ALK Blue, or other substrate-chromogens suitable for permanent mounting can also be mounted using ChromoProtector for a solvent/xylene-free procedure.
