Introduction:Quetol 651 is a low viscosity epoxy resin which also acts to some degree as a dehydrating agent and combines chemically in any cured epoxy resin formulation. Both thin and thick sections can be cut without difficulty, and are known for their good stability in the electron beam as well. Some dehydration is needed but one does not have to carry the specimen through to a complete alcohol dehydration. And in addition, one obtains quite acceptable cell preservation at the same time. If you are looking for improved results and have never done it before, Quetol 651 might be a resin system to try out.

Storage:Store in accordance with local regulations.
