Introduction:Size-isolated S-formulation microbubble contrast agent for contrast enhanced ultrasound (CEUS) has a diameter distribution of 4-5 µm and offers greater stability than other microbubbles of the same size. The tighter size distribution of this formulation allows for biologically targeted studies to be performed, while the larger microbubble size can achieve greater acoustic response enabling more sensitive ultrasound imaging.
